I don't bake very often now, I'm called upon to be a musician now more than anything else, but was asked to make a Black Forest Gateau for a birthday locally today and this recipe by never fails to please a crowd. Every shop I went to didn't have fresh cherries, so these are from a can and there is black cherry conserve inside, so packed with flavour. 😊

A quick post to mark the 18th birthday of Josephine (this is the fifth cake I've made for her, ranging from an Adore Delano tribute, to personal photos in frames and now this Lambeth-inspired black (chocolate) heart with gothic stylings, ghouls and bones). 😊

This is the Nottingham Forest stadium cake (a carrot cake, recipe ) for young Frank, twin brother to Kezia. This is the first year that they have celebrated separately, and required two deliveries from Wiltshire to London, but well worth it. I know it's a bit wobbly-wobbly, like all my stuff, but it comes from the heart and was thoroughly enjoyed. Thank you, again, to for the commission, a little more 'normal' than previous years. 😊

A bit late posting this, but I recently made a Taylor Swift 'Folklore' inspired cake for Kezia, who I have been making cakes for since she was 3, alongside her twin brother, Frank. This was a coffee cake (recipe ) and decorated with album artwork plus fondant depictions of omnipresent bunny Tulip and sausage dog Dexter. I can't believe this is the tenth year I've been baking cakes for them both. 😊 Thank you, of course, to for the commission. 😘

Happy Birthday to Queen Jeeeaannie Warner! 😊❤️ I've known Jean for almost 30 years and was asked by her husband, Guy, to create a massive chocolate cake for her surprise 60th party, which happened last Sunday (it's her actual birthday today) The recipe is by the wonderful who helped me bring it to life in a gluten free costume, which I adorned with sparkly slash curtain.

Well, that's a wrap on my shows for 2023! My final End of the Show Show paid a little homage to both Oxford and Cambridge, with a nod to Dick Van D**e along the way... 😊 Serving two different looks and loving it. The wonderful steered the ship beautifully, with ever faithful at her side. 😊 Lovely to meet .a.tart and and hope our paths cross again. My cake was well received and devoured in minutes, will try and post the final version of the recipe soon. Thank you to everyone who watched my shows and said hello. 😘😘
