A colourful collection of cupcake bouquets left the kitchen today, each one created with the customer’s preference in mind.

From soft pinks and purples to vibrant blues and teals, and even the inclusion of beautiful iris flowers, these bouquets were all made to gift for birthdays.

I always enjoy bringing personal ideas to life and, where possible, I’m happy to accommodate special colour palettes and flower requests to create something truly unique for the recipient.

Are you planning a wedding in South Wales and want your cake to be a romantic flower-garden inspired centrepiece designed to complement your celebration and become part of the magic of your special day? If you want something that is uniquely yours, then this is for you 💖

This three-tier cake was recently created for a wedding at Llantilio House near Abergavenny, Monmouthshire. The cake was a beautiful mix of wildflower meadow and summer garden flowers designed to feel elegant, timeless and luxurious.

A delicious mix of classic vanilla sponge with raspberry jam, zesty lemon sponge with tangy lemon curd and rich chocolate sponge with chocolate spread filling. All of my wedding cakes are covered in a delicious white chocolate ganache and vanilla buttercream.

✨ A beautiful day at Llantilio House yesterday, setting up this three-tier wedding cake for the lovely newlyweds✨

Hand-piped buttercream flowers, delicate wildflower details and soft pastel tones came together to create a design inspired by a country garden in bloom 🌸🌿

What you don’t always see in the finished photos is what’s involved behind the scenes. This cake required many hours of work through the different stages of its creation and then it requires careful transportation (thank goodness for my CakeSafe!), and a very heavy setup on the day to ensure everything arrived and was presented perfectly for the couple.

There’s always something special about seeing a cake on display in its venue, ready to become part of a couple’s memories. Watching all the little details come together is one of my favourite parts of wedding day setup.

Congratulations to the happy couple! 💛

Today my customer collected this cupcake bouquet for a friend’s 90th birthday and he said something that really stuck with me:

“You’ve saved me having to think.”

Then he shook my hand and thanked me.

It might sound like a simple comment, but it perfectly sums up why I love creating these bouquets.
