🍬 Who remembers Iced Gems from their childhood?!

This week’s Great British Bake Off Technical Challenge had me making these little beauties completely from scratch!

I thought they’d be easy… until I started piping all those tiny icing peaks! 😂

Such a nostalgic bake, and I’m so pleased with the finished result.

Be honest… did you eat the biscuit and icing together, or pull the icing off first? 👀

I’m starting a new weekly series where I recreate the technical challenge from The Great British Bake Off!

First up was this coffee and walnut cake ☕️🌰 It had a lovely intense coffee flavour, and my friends and family absolutely loved it.

I made this three-tier wedding cake a few years ago but never shared it—and it’s far too lovely not to post!

A rustic semi-naked design finished with delicate pearl piping and beautiful fresh flowers chosen to complement the bridal bouquet and wedding flowers. Displayed perfectly on a natural wooden cake stand.
