The Local Bakehouse Gluten-free cake specialists with vegan options for birthdays, weddings and more! Welcome to the wonderful world of gluten-free cake!

We make all sorts of creations depending on what our lovely customers need. You can order by telephone or online. We offer free collection from our location in Brislington or we can deliver within Bristol. We run a range of different classes depending on what you need. Most popular is our Cheeky Animals Cupcake Decorating Course which suits all abilities and any age over 5. More advanced are our wedding cake decorating classes, including how to make sugar flowers and bespoke bride and groom toppers. If we're not running a course soon enough for you then do enquire about having a private session. We don't have a shop so please let us know in advance what you need. Like us because we're fun, friendly and absolutely the best when it comes to delicious gluten-free cake!

Yesterday's 4 tier gluten-free wedding cake The Radnor Rooms in Bristol 😁🥰

I love doing naked cakes and they're perfect in warm weather 😋

The venue looked absolutely stunning and had the best air conditioning - a must in the heat 😅

To top it off, England did us proud ⚽️

A gorgeous buttercream wedding cake for a wonderful couple Old Down Estate this weekend 😍

The whole cake was gluten-free so the groom didn't need to worry about his coeliac needs.

If you've not been to The Barn before then it's worth checking out - especially in this weather - it's in the shade so it keeps the summer heat out, is perfectly situated just outside Bristol with a massive car park, and the whole place looks stunning.

Plus, you may see a peacock or two 😁

As for me, it's wonderful helping other coeliacs enjoy their big day without having to worry about gluten.

It's so important for coeliacs to be able to get a safe gluten-free cake.

My heart breaks when I hear a bride tell me she thought she wouldn't be able to eat her own wedding cake because she couldn't find a baker who had a gluten-free kitchen.

These gorgeous 2D roses were completely gluten-free AND dairy-free — and I absolutely LOVED making them 😍

Also, with the English sun and crazy temperatures ☀️, dairy-free frosting is a safer bet and these stood the test beautifully at the wonderful Manor House😍 near Chippenham 😀

I couldn't believe this wonderful surprise! (Swipe to 3rd pic to see 😊❤️)

I was asked to make a rather unusual wedding cake this weekend. As usual, it needed to be gluten-free, but that's not all...

The bride wanted her dog to be eating it!

So that's exactly what I did, albeit with only a small amount of stolen cake so they could still have it as a surprise after guests had seen the cake from the other side.

The venue .grange was absolutely gorgeous, too, with everything thought about carefully (including much needed air con 😀).

And then, to my astonishment, I was gifted a lovely bottle of w**e from the happy couple - what a treat!
