On Sunday 3rd May 2026, five teams from Proper Cornish will be taking part in The Lions Club Of Bodmin ’s Ten Tors 43rd Annual Walk - a challenging 13‑mile trek across moorland and over some of Cornwall’s highest hills. They’re doing it for a fantastic cause, raising funds for our chosen charity, The Hugs Foundation.

Our new Proper Chunky Cheese and Pickle Roll is the perfect blend of sweet and savoury, with Cheddar, Red Leicester and soft cheese combined with a generous layer of pickle, wrapped in our unique pastry.

We’ve got some exciting news to share! Proper Cornish is going to be on national TV this weekend! Our much‑loved Cheese & Onion Pasty has been selected to feature on Love Your Weekend with Alan Titchmarsh on ITV1, Sunday 12th April.

The show is celebrating all things “pints and pasties”, and our pasty will be sampled by beer expert Marverine Cole, Alan, and their special guests. We are thrilled to be part of it, and we can’t wait to hear what they think.

📺 Tune in from 9:30am–11:30am this Sunday. You won’t want to miss it!

🥇 Wow - it’s three Golds for us at the Taste of the West Awards 2026! 🥇

We’re incredibly proud to announce that our Chicken Bhaji Pasty, our Proper Chunky Cheese & Pickle Roll and our Bacon & Cheese Turnover have all won Gold in the first phase of this year’s Taste of the West Awards.

And there’s more good news - our Sweet Apple & Cinnamon Pasty was awarded Commended, a fantastic recognition of the care and craft that goes into the products we produce here at Proper Cornish.

What a brilliant highlight for us this spring - and a true testament to the quality we deliver day in, day out.
