This was an interesting order, and a first for me.

Cakes by post to celebrate a businesses 5th birthday. It took a few months to research and source what I needed to make it work, it also took a bit of time to create the stickers on my Cricut machine and the print the edible images (postcards supplied by my client). The actual bake was the last thing on the list. But, everything came together and each of the boxes (several) were posted on Wednesday using the ‘next day’ service. Thank you, to the lovely lady at the PO for your patience and keeping the parcels as flat as possible! 🙈

It was an experiment, so when my client forwarded a message of thanks from one of the recipients, I was so happy. 😃

Next stop… Caking Memories International! 🛫🙈😂😂

Wow! What a year!

I can’t begin to explain how unbelievably thrilled I am to see how far my little business has come.

July marks the 2nd birthday of Caking Memories. In my first year of trading I created seven wedding cakes for some amazing couples locally.

Now, with the help of your recommendations, and the odd wedding fayre, I am bringing the wedding cake visions of twenty three couples to life in 2026, all over Devon, Somerset and Cornwall.

Thank you so much to everyone for their overwhelming support, word of mouth recommendations, and fantastic reviews. 🥰

Keep it up my lovelies, and remember, it’s never too early to book a cake for your celebration! 😃🎂🩷

This beautiful venue is literally a mile away from me, in the very scenic North Devon countryside. Not as publicised as most venues, but definitely worth a visit. 🌳🥂🍾😃🩷

From one dinosaur lover to another, I wish Denver & Chloe the happiest of wedding days.🦖🦕🎂🥂🍾

The dinosaurs were made by the bride. I brought them to life and created something they could keep forever by turning a basic cake drum into a personalised log slice. The base is also a log slice that I created by covering a cake drum.

The foliage wrapped around the cake is a mixture of homemade sugar eucalyptus and homemade wafer paper leaves.

Both tiers are my much loved rich chocolate fudge cake.

How gorgeous is this?
Beautiful set up for a wedding at Sidmouth Harbour Hotel this morning.

Bottom tier is Carrot Cake, top tier is Victoria Sponge, and twelve gluten free cupcakes, all decorated with edible fresh flowers from Stowford Flowers, which looked and smelled amazing. 🌸🩷
