Thank you so much to all who have followed my cake journey over the last 13 years! I cannot express in words my appreciation to all my wonderful customers who have trusted me to make cakes for their important occasions!

Making wedding cakes was once a dream of mine, and I’ll be forever grateful to all the couples who made that dream a reality for me. I’ve really loved being a part of such special occasions and making so many gorgeous cakes, I’ll miss it so much!

Who knows what the future has in store, but it’s bye for now and once again a massive thank you from the bottom of my heart.

Happy 2025 all!

I’m a little late posting but I hope you’re all well and enjoyed your Christmas and New year celebrations!

Just wanted to pop on to say how grateful I am to all who ordered a cake in 2024 and my last couple of orders. 2025 will be different for me in that I’ve made my last but 1 cake for this year already. But it won’t be the last of my baking 😊 who knows that the future brings but for now I have mixed emotions about hanging up my apron. I’m relieved as well as sad to be taking a bit of a break!

Here’s my daughter’s birthday cake, the last cake from 2024! As much as I LOVE these Lambeth cakes, I can’t take a decent photo of them 🤣

Beaus choice was black and white, Lambeth, round with just ‘Fourteen’ and bows. Fourteen already!? That also means I’ve been making cakes for 13 years! The time has flown.

Happy 1st weekend of the new year, we’re due some snow here in Wales so after a few errands this afternoon we’ll be staying in for the rest of the weekend ❄️

And that’s a wrap on my cake orders for 2024, but my baking for this year isn’t over just yet as next week my daughter turns 14 and I’ve had very strict instructions for her cake 🖤 can’t wait to share it with you!

Jim & Meryl celebrated their golden wedding anniversary yesterday, it was an honour to make their special cake! 50 years of love, how amazing!

Happy 1st anniversary to my sister and brother in law! How is it one year already since I made this cake? Time is seriously flying by.
Definitely one of my favourites but also the most stressful 🙈🤣 love you guys so much, wishing you a wonderful day celebrating 🖤🤍

Announcement 📣 Beau-tiful Bakes is closing!

After many years of juggling working full time and trying to do as many cakes as possible, as well being a mam of 2 (a dog mam) a wife, a friend, trying to run/fix up a house and making time for myself it’s time to turn off my mixer.

My heart is broken but I have put myself under a lot of pressure the last few years and it’s time to take that pressure off, take the time back and spend it with my wonderful family and friends.

The support I’ve received over the years has been amazing and the fact that I’ve been trusted so many times to make and deliver wedding cakes really blows my mind! I am so honoured and so grateful to have been a part of so many special occasions. I will miss it so much, but I feel now is the right time. Who knows what the future will bring but this is right for me and my family at this moment in time.

I want my customers and supporters to know you’re all amazing and I thank you from the bottom of my heart for your support and for believing in me. It means the world to me 🤍

The cakes I have already agreed to make will be honoured, please don’t worry if you have a cake booked with me, this just means that I will not be taking on any future orders and once I’ve made my last one there will be no more.

Thank you for always being there for me, I am so, so grateful and always will be 🤍

Huge happy birthday to my little boy Myles who turned 5 today! We had a lovely weekend in Legoland so of course he had to have a Lego themed cake!

He chose chocolate sponge with cookies and cream filling 🍫🍪

D I A R Y 2024 📔

I’ve decided to close my diary for 2024! As autumn has began and we head into the final last quarter of 2024, I will not be taking on any more orders.

Thank you so much to all who have placed orders with me this year, and previous years I’m always super duper grateful! I love making your special occasion cakes but with the busy months ahead for all of us (trying not to say the c word) I feel it’s the right thing to do for myself and my amazing, very patient and supportive family.

Thank you for your understanding.

I will still be making the cakes that are already booked in, but feel free to drop me a message about your cake if you want to check.
