We had a fabulous group tonight for the Italian Cooking Class! Our menu: focaccia, Caesar salad, fresh pasta, eggplant rollatini, Italian meat pie, and cannoli to finish. They made everything from scratch including the ricotta cheese 🙌 You guys were awesome.

My next Italian Cooking Workshop is on Saturday, October 24th from 2-7 pm at the Beacon United Church kitchen in Yarmouth. You’ll learn how to make pasta and cannoli from scratch and more! After cooking, we sit down and enjoy the meal together, and there are usually leftovers to take home as well. $95 per person. Please message me to register!

Happy Thanksgiving weekend from my kitchen to yours! 🫶🏻 I’ve loved meeting so many new faces this year through my classes and baking offerings. Thank you for being here and letting me share a little of what I love with you!

I don’t know about you, but this is one of my favorite times of year to cook and bake. The apples, squash, and potatoes are SO GOOD right now! 🍎 This apple pie was inspired by my husband, who said, “You know what would be great? If you made an apple pie with streusel topping, with more crust on top, and then piped on cranberry buttercream.” The man knows how to dream big. 🤣

While I didn’t make these pies for sale this year, I am SO EXCITED to get back to making Christmas cookies again! You can expect my traditional favorites (nutcrackers, polar bears, and more), along with some new vintage-inspired shapes I can’t wait to try out. 🎄🍪 Stay tuned!

I led a French macaron class yesterday in Yarmouth! To quote one of the participants, “I knew I was going to have fun, but this was MORE fun than I expected it would be.” 🧑‍🍳 If this seems like the sort of thing you’d enjoy, consider signing up for my Italian cooking class and dinner happening in Yarmouth on October 24th!

Last weekend, I had the honor of making a dear neighbor’s 50th wedding anniversary cake! Congratulations, Patsy and Guy! The cake: vanilla cake, vanilla Swiss meringue buttercream, flowers by Michelle King, topper: made of sugar by me.
