What an incredible weekend!
As many of y’all know, 2025 was a challenging year for me & my business.
I made the difficult but necessary decision of moving my business to mostly catering orders, and it was terrifying. But at the end of the day, 2025 was a year of many beautiful highs and some very difficult lows. Making this adjustment for my business wasn’t easy, but I knew it was the best decision for us going forward.
This weekend, as I braved the for my third year (but my first year as a full catering business), I was welcomed with nothing but love, support, and kindness.
Nancy, the incredible force behind this event, reminded me that businesses are meant to grow, evolve, and adjust over time, and that this shift is both natural and smart. Her words brought me a sense of comfort and peace I didn’t know I needed.
Getting to meet so many wonderful couples throughout the weekend made the experience even more special.
As I prepare for a new year filled with less markets/website orders and more weddings, showers, and parties, I am overwhelmed with gratitude.
“Trusting the process” hasn’t always been easy as a business owner, but this weekend reminded me that I’m exactly where I’m meant to be.
Thank you to everyone who continues to believe in me, support this dream, and grow alongside this business. I can’t wait to see what this next chapter holds. 💝💍🥂
P.S. The BIGGEST thank you goes out to my other half Mark, my beautiful mama, my grandma, my little brother Cody, my brother-in-law Matthew, and my totally awesome God (who has been alongside me every step of this crazy life). They were all INSTRUMENTAL in making this weekend a success, and it literally wouldn’t have been possible without them. I’m endlessly blessed🤍
