So thanks to Rota Gioioso for this request PHCD proudly brings you for your italian holiday pleasure Pitta'mpigliata (Italian Christmas Cake) a calabrian tradition dating back to 1700, combined with nuts and raisins and honey this christmas cake can be cut and served in wedges for holiday guests. For those of you playing the guessing game, this is what's new this year at the PHCD, Mostacciola, a calabrian (italian)cookie that is traditional around the holidays. A honey dough wrapped around a chocolate filling with notes of anise. I think I'm in love!!! So good with a cup of coffee!!! On the higher end o of the price point, but we'll worth it!!!

GOOD EVENING PHCD Fans,as you know I recently posted my holiday cookie list basics, and trying a few new things to add to the mix so stay tuned for the results of that one! I'll give you a hint, it's a standard Italian holiday goody that I'm super excited to make!
