We were already obsessed with ._._ ‘s ube flan cupcake after one bite!!

From doing markets together to actually becoming friends… this one just made sense.

Leche flan was always around growing up in the Philippines. Every handaan and birthday. It was that dessert everyone waited for!

So this one feels personal.

We’re just really proud to share something that reminds us of home. Hope more of Toronto gets to taste that feeling too.

Brought ButterBites Silvanas from Toronto to Paris and they actually travel well! (8 hours)
A bit soft after the trip, but still that slight crisp + creamy center.

Silvanas are a classic Filipino dessert for a reason: crisp cashew meringue + silky French buttercream = melt + crunch.

Our version started as my grandma’s recipe, then my mom’s, then ours. We’ve been slowly refining it ever since.

We’re heading into our 3rd popup this Sunday (April 19th) at Stackt, and honestly, we’re still kind of processing how supportive the community has been.

Seeing repeat orders, especially right after someone’s first try, still surprises us every time.

If you’ve been ordering since we started, or you’ve come back again and again… thank you. You’re literally the reason we get to keep doing this. 😮‍💨

Most days it’s just the 2 of us behind the scenes (sometimes 4 when our partners are available to help out lol). We’re still figuring things out as we go and trying to get better every week. 💪
