A huge thank you to .now and for curating this thoughtful box filled with products, treats, and brands founded by talented Asian entrepreneurs across Canada.

As an Asian creator and mom raising the next generation, representation and community mean so much to me. I love discovering the stories behind the products, and this box introduced me to so many inspiring founders who are building businesses, preserving culture, and creating meaningful impact.

Part 2: Cake Contest with daddy! This was the annual cake contest held by ! The team has to consist of one child and one adult. The rule is to make a Mother’s Day theme cake in 90 mins. Ken was so nervous but he did great!! Ellis and Ken made a stir fry noodle cake for the semi-finals cause it’s a dish I always make at home! They made it to the next round… the finals!!

Part 1: Ellis and Ken joined the Mother’s Day cake contest this year! They practiced at home together before the semi-final round at the bakery. Honestly, Ken did better than I thought! ❤️🥰

Watching Ellis grow up through cake art has been an incredible journey for me because it all started with something so small… her sitting beside me as a little girl, playing with leftover fondant while I worked on cakes.
Back then, I never could’ve imagined her cake skills would grow into her becoming the confident, creative little artist she is today.

That’s why this song resonates with us so much. Unwritten is a reminder that every child’s future is still being written, and their creativity, imagination, and passions can take them somewhere so special.

Ellis created a pink and purple outfit cake to match how she’s feeling on the outside.  It makes her feel confident, creative, and fully herself… just like Emmie and the way she expresses herself through fashion, imagination, and adventure.
We hope this reminds other kids to dream big, be creative, and confidently express themselves in their own unique way.✨

Ellis was so excited for this cake playdate. Her friend from school loves Ellis’ cake video and asked to make one together. How can I say no. 🥹🥰💕✨

The girls had so much fun and went with a matching purple bunny design. Ellis kept giving me kisses and said it was the best day ever. 🥹

For Mother’s Day this year, we did a mommy and me class with ! 💛�It was the perfect reminder to move, stay active, and spend quality time together.

So thankful for putting this together for mom! It was a very fun and thoughtful experience.
I also got to check out their new pieces and they are SO soft, breathable, and pretty… can’t wait to wear them for my next workout ✨

My mother’s day surprise last year. Ellis taught Ken how yo make gumpaste roses and the cake turned out so beautifully! Eum also made the cupcakes for me. 🥰.

I was away for work and they made a cake together to surprise me. I love the cake and watching ehat they recorded together was the icing on the cake. When Ellis said she’ll be a good teacher like mommy. 🥹🥰✨💕
