We often get asked about the best way to store dry ice for a day or two and we recommend using a camping cooler chest (see image below).
We do not recommend storing it in your home fridge or freezer as dry ice is substantially colder (-78C) than fridge / freezer operating temperatures and could cause issues with the built in thermostat. The interior air flow will also cause the dry ice to sublimate a lot quicker.
A camping cooler is the ideal storage unit.

This kind of dry ice cleaning for cars is becoming more and more popular in the Greater Toronto Area. The video below is from a U.S. West Coast company. V impressive.

"Few things scream "sports car" like a classic red BMW coupe. We had this e21 320i in the shop for a deep dry ice blasting, wash, and paint correction. We dry ice cleaned the underbody, the wheel wells, engine bay, and trim, deeply washed the wheels, paint corrected the red paint that needed some LOVE back to a fantastic shine, and even replaced the old worn BMW logos.

The white-ish color you see around 0:50 is the original body color of the car (20years ago the car was repainted, removing 40 years of dirt!) This is the second owner and it was his first car… he owned it for last 29 years!"
