Freebird Etobicoke got its yearly allocation of some of the very best Ontario maple syrup. from Tapped Out dropped it off personally. He cooks is in the woods in flat pans over open fires that burn all night. Sap is continuously added to the pans until there is a break in the sap flow. This cooking process creates individual batches and unique flavours. Tapped Out Small Batch is a small pleasure in life from a true artisan. We are proud to carry Graeme’s honey’s from Lost Meadows as well. Chemical free.

Vertically grown designer 🍓🍓🍓??! Using the Japanese fruit-growing philosophy-NOT chemicals, the focus is on creating the most delicious strawberry possible, not the biggest or fastest. The ‘science’ is about controlling the environment perfectly, not altering the fruit. In Japan fruit is treated like a luxury product + growers tend to focus on flavour sweetness, aroma, and texture above everything else. Often times this includes the use of technology and science to create the most ideal growing conditions year round. They are not genetically modified or chemically engineered. Think of like a greenhouse but take to the highest level of sophistication and precision. Imagine being able to fine tune a terroir to get the best tasting wine. The Japanese fruit culture is about refinement, not shortcuts. Think of it like the difference between mass produced tomatoes and perfectly grown San Marzano. Same ingredients, but with different intentionality behind it.
