We’re not in Kansas anymore, cheesecake lovers! Tomorrow at the SooMRKT, MamaCass is bringing full-sized cheesecakes to a market for the FIRST TIME!

Whether you need a little treat, a mixed pack to share, or a full-sized cheesecake for Thanksgiving dinner, come see what we’ve baked up!
No wizard behind the curtain here. Just one slightly frazzled woman who could’ve really used a few flying monkeys to help with the baking this week.

Well, apparently putting an entire cheesecake business on wheels and using it to raise money for our community counts as innovation… WHO KNEW?!
I am SO incredibly excited to announce that MamaCass Cheesecakes is officially a nominee for the 2026 Innovation Awards!
When I started making cheesecakes to help pay for my son’s braces, I never imagined it would grow into Rosie, Northern Ontario’s only dedicated cheesecake trailer, or become Cheesecakes for a Cause, helping local organizations raise money one cheesecake at a time.
This little business has grown faster, bigger and more beautifully than I ever dreamed, and being recognized for creating something innovative in our region is such an incredible honour.
Thank you to everyone who has ordered, lined up, followed Rosie around Algoma, partnered with me, supported a fundraiser or told a friend about MamaCass. You helped turn this wild cheesecake idea into something truly special.
Now we wait until November 6 to see what happens! 🤞👩🏻‍🍳❤️

If you’re looking to purchase cheesecakes this is your chance!! We are here till 2 PM and we have so many cheesecakes in this fridge. You do not need to be part of this race to come and purchase cheesecakes.

Sunday is about showing up for each other. 🩷
After our trip to Blind River, Rosie is heading back to the Soo for the CIBC Run for the Cure on October 4 at the Roberta Bondar Pavilion.
This is a day to walk, run, cheer, remember, celebrate, and stand beside everyone whose life has been touched by breast cancer. Whether you’re taking part in the run or coming down to support someone you love, I hope you’ll join us.
The event opens at 8 a.m., opening ceremonies begin at 9 a.m., and the 1K and 5K walk and run start at 9:45 a.m. Rosie will be there with cheesecake and I will be wearing my pink thanks to Outrageous Greetings Design Co.. Come say hello, grab a treat, and be part of a beautiful morning for our community. 🩷

Blind River, Rosie’s coming for you!

This Saturday, October 3, we’re packing up the cheesecake and heading to the Witches Dance Party & Market in downtown Blind River!
The market runs from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., with vendors to explore, games for the kids, and the witches taking over the dance floor at 11am and 1pm. I’m told there will be dancing. I have not been told whether Rosie is allowed to join in, but she’s been practising her moves anyway!
Come wander the market, catch a dance, and stop by Rosie for a cheesecake treat. I’m so excited to spend the day with you, Blind River!

Well… you understood the Thanksgiving assignment!
I have been flooded with orders, and I’m so grateful to everyone who got theirs in so quickly! My baking schedule is officially full, so Thanksgiving preorders are now closed.

But Rosie has one last chance for you to bring cheesecake to Thanksgiving dinner! Come see us at the SooMRKT on Saturday, October 10 for minis, mixed packs, and for the first time ever - a limited number of full-sized feature flavour cheesecakes! Apple Crumble, Butter Pecan, and Pumpkin ❤️👩🏻‍🍳

What a day at the Soo’s very first PJ Walk for Childhood Cancer! 💜

Rosie was ready to roll… and then her fridge decided it had worked enough weekends 🤦‍♀️ So we kicked it old school under our purple tent, serving cheesecake and cheering on everyone who came out.
The turnout was incredible, and they surpassed their fundraising goal! What an amazing first walk for our community. Seeing so many people show up for children and families facing childhood cancer—and for our little superhero Zack—made today so special. 💛

Thanks to everyone who stopped by, Cheesecakes for a Cause was able to donate $150! Thank you to everyone who organized, walked, donated, bought cheesecake, or simply showed their support.
And thank you for finding us under the tent when Rosie needed a sick day.
Same heart, same cheesecake, slightly less refrigeration drama next time. ❤️👩🏻‍🍳
