It’s nearly a year since we closed the doors on RubyBlues Bakery. The biggest loss was getting to see our customers day after day.

I’ve been working hard at college since then, and I am now halfway on my journey to becoming an RMT. I’m hoping to open my new business in about a years time, all being well, and if I can pass all the board exams.

I’m planning on sharing my final year of training, what we have to learn and have to achieve before we can qualify. I want to share how my own new practice will take shape and plans for the future. Feel free to follow me, through the highs and lows or unsubscribe if it’s only cake you need.

I still feel very much part of the local community and I am excited to get this new venture open before the end of 2027!!

It’s unlikely that RubyBlues will continue to trade in the New Year.

However, in other news, I have become a full time student, and on the pathway to being a registered massage therapist!

We wanted to reach out and thank everyone who made Ruby’s so lovely, our customers, and especially you!

Going forward, we will be able to provide a small menu for those that miss our baked goods. We are sorting out how this will happen and will let you know the details soon.

We plan to have your favourites like sticky toffee pudding for Christmas, I can’t have you missing this for dessert over the holidays.
