Sourdough delivery was made bright and early to The Den by Moonshine Coffee Roasters and there is something NEW on the shelf 👀

Effective immediately we will no longer be delivering Sourdough to Deroche Ridge.
We take your feedback seriously, and have made this change accordingly Sometimes things don't work out
Sometimes its just not a good fit...
And thats ok

Tuesday & Friday at The Den
Wednesdays at The Crafty Nook
Saturdays at Quesnel Farmers Market & Tiny Treats
And always at our Farm in Bouchie Lake.

I often get asked about why I "refresh" my starter every change of season. The practice of leveraging seasonal micro organisms has long standing roots in traditional cultures of eating fermented foods and predates our modern understanding of microbiomes and immunity. This innate wissen or knowing was based of simple observation and experience about what "felt good" and "did good" by people who lived in constant connection with the natural world. It is at the heart of what we do here at Firefly Meadows Farm, why our bread is so special and tastes so incredible. Its what sets us apart

There will be no delivery to Deroche Ridge today since apparently they are closed 😔
Thank you to the customers who forwarded me the post yesterday letting me know.
Also a HUGE thank you to Denise at The Crafty Nook who did not hesitate to take on the extra bread this week, as well as the extra loaves we added to The Den by Moonshine Coffee Roasters shelf.
As you know our bread is custom baked fresh for each delivery and has a strict sell by date, having plans change at the last minute can be stressful for a small business and so we are super grateful that our amazing retailers stepped up for us. ❤️
