🐮🐷🐑 Farm-fresh sweetness!

These custom farm cupcakes were made with a mix of vanilla and chocolate cupcakes, topped with buttercream and handcrafted modeling chocolate details.

From fluffy sheep and curious pigs to shaggy cows and little red barns, every cupcake was designed to bring a smile.

🤍 A special cake for a special day 🤍

This weekend I got to create a wedding cake for James & Kaitlyn.

Two rich chocolate cake layers were filled with peanut butter buttercream loaded with chopped peanuts for a little extra crunch and texture. A thin layer of chocolate ganache over the filling brought everything together before the cake was finished with smooth vanilla buttercream.

Simple, classic, and full of chocolate and peanut butter goodness.

Congratulations, James & Kaitlyn! Wishing you a lifetime of love, laughter, and sweet memories together. Thank you for allowing The Little Bakery to be a small part of your beautiful day. 💍✨

SOURDOUGH WEDNESDAY 🍞

Fresh sourdough will be available this Wednesday!

Country Loaves, Cinnamon Raisin, Stone Ground, and Sandwich Loaves will be coming out of the oven fresh and ready for pickup.

All pre-orders will receive a message as soon as their order is ready.

If there are any extra loaves available, they will be posted to our Stories on Wednesday morning — so keep an eye out! 👀

Fresh Sourdough Tomorrow 🍞

Judy is ready, and our sourdough is being prepped today! 🤎

Everything will be freshly baked tomorrow morning, and all special baking orders will receive a message as soon as they’re ready for pickup.

🎉 A little birthday colour while The Little Bakery eases back into the kitchen. 🌈🤍

Yesterday's bake was this cheerful confetti cake for a very special young lady turning 17.

I took a little chance with the design. At 17, you're no longer a little girl, but you're not quite finished growing up either.

I wanted this cake to celebrate the young woman Maddie is becoming while holding onto the colourful little girl she's always been. The soft pastel buttercream and colourful confetti are a gentle reminder that growing up doesn't mean leaving joy, wonder, and childhood behind.

As for The Little Bakery, we're still easing back into things this week. I'm spending some precious time with my family celebrating my own daughter's birthday before summer slips away, and Judy (my much-loved sourdough starter) is still waking from her little holiday slumber. 🥖😄

The ovens won't be running at full capacity just yet, and I will be enjoying a bit more of family time while Judy finds her rhythm again.

Thank you, as always, for your kindness, patience, and support. I can't wait to welcome you all back to the smell of fresh bread very soon. 🤍
