A little late but.. What a wonderful way to wrap up this year’s Festival du Pain et Cie / Bread & Co Festival! 🍞

We are so proud and grateful to share that Wood Chef Bakery / Pain du Collège, received both the People’s Choice Award and the Jury’s Choice Award in the “Best Belliveau Bread” competition with our homemade Apple Cinnamon Bread! 🍎🏆

It truly means a lot to our little family bakery to receive this recognition, and we couldn’t be more thankful to everyone who tasted our bread, voted, and showed their support. ❤️

It was an absolute pleasure meeting so many wonderful people, connecting with fellow bakers, sharing stories, and celebrating the traditions and passion that bring our community together through bread. 🥖

A heartfelt thank you to all the organizers, volunteers, and everyone who helped make this festival possible. It was an honour to participate in such a lovely event, meet so many wonderful people, and share our passion for baking alongside other talented local bakers.

We had such a great time and made some wonderful memories along the way!

A very special birthday at the bakery today ‼️🥖

Today we’re celebrating our dad — our baker, and the person who pours so much of himself into this place every single day.

This is now his second birthday at the bakery, and since taking this on, he has given it everything. The early mornings, the long days, the hard work, the stress, the sacrifice, and most of all, his heart.

A lot of what you see on our shelves starts with his hands and his dedication. This bakery means so much to our family, and so does everything he puts into keeping it going.

The shelves are looking extra good today. 🥖🥐🍰

We’ve got fresh bread, croissants, pastries, cheesecakes, desserts and all the usual bakery favourites ready for you — plenty to choose from whether you’re stopping in for something sweet, something fresh for home, or a little bit of both. ❤️

And yes… THE SHAWARMA IS BACK! 🌯🔥

Because of all the love it’s been getting, for the time being we’ll be making our chicken shawarma every Thursday and Saturday. Fresh chicken, our handmade pita, diced veggies and all the good stuff — ready for lunch.

We’ve also got something else coming up that we’re really excited about… the Bread Festival is happening later this month! 🥖🎉 We’ll be sharing more about that soon, but we’re already looking forward to being part of it.

Nos tablettes sont particulièrement bien garnies aujourd’hui. 🥖🥐🍰

Nous avons du pain frais, des croissants, des pâtisseries, des gâteaux au fromage, des desserts et tous vos produits habituels préférés prêts pour vous. Que ce soit pour une petite gâterie, du bon pain pour la maison ou un peu des deux, il y a de quoi se faire plaisir. ❤️

Avec tous les beaux commentaires reçus, pour le moment nous préparerons notre shawarma au poulet tous les jeudis et samedis. Poulet frais, notre pita fait à la main, légumes en dés et tout ce qu’il faut pour un bon dîner.

Et ce n’est pas tout… nous avons aussi très hâte au Festival du pain qui aura lieu plus t**d ce mois-ci! 🥖🎉 On vous en parlera davantage bientôt, mais on est déjà très heureux d’y participer.

🌯 SHAWARMA IS BACK TOMORROW! 🔥

After such a successful shawarma day and so much positive feedback — from both our regulars and plenty of people trying it for the very first time — we kept hearing the same question: “When are you doing it again?”

So… tomorrow, Saturday the 26th, chicken shawarma is back!🥙

And for everyone in the Greater Moncton area who can’t make it out to our bakery in Memramcook, you can also find us at the Dieppe Market from 7 AM to 2 PM with lots of fresh goodies waiting for you.

Après le succès de notre dernière journée shawarma et tous les beaux commentaires reçus — autant de nos habitués que de plusieurs personnes qui l’essayaient pour la toute première fois — une question revenait souvent : « Quand est-ce que vous en refaites? »
