My love for baking & cooking started in my Grandmother, Rowena’s cozy Newfoundland kitchen. I use to watch her make bread without a recipe, a scale, or even a measuring cup. Just feel, practice, patience, and a whole lot of love. She made the best bread. I think that's why I'm so obsessed with sourdough today, every loaf brings back a little piece of those memories.

In the Sourdough ‘community’ everyone gives their Sourdough starter a name. And it's why I named my starter after her, Rowie.

Rowie still makes the best bread. ❤️

Okayyyy… this loaf though 😍

I’d say this one is pretty darn close to perfect!

Sourdough really keeps you humble, so when one comes out this good, you HAVE to show it off!
