Some things are bigger than business.
This is one of them.
The father of my children lost his battle with ALS, and his absence has left a space in our family that can never truly be filled.
But his memory gives us an opportunity to do something meaningful.
This is about supporting our children and our family the best way I know how, honouring the endless love our children have for their dad and supporting other families who are walking a road we now know all too well.
I can’t unbreak my children’s hearts, but I can at least try to make even one small positive difference and show them the power of a mother’s love.
So, we're raising funds for the ALS Society of Alberta in his memory.
Because ALS doesn't only affect the person diagnosed. It affects entire families, and there are still families walking through this experience today.
We can't change his story.
But we can help change someone else's.
If you are able, please consider donating. If you can't donate, sharing this fundraiser is just as meaningful.
HOW TO ENTER:
Every order from today at 10:00 AM until Sunday at 12:00 noon will be part of the fundraiser, with 50% of sales from those orders being donated to The ALS Society of Alberta as a tribute donation in Dusty’s honor.
DRAW ENTRY:
In addition to the fundraiser, I will be having a draw for a dozen free donuts (delivered to you).
Every order is an entry to the draw.
As well, everyone that SHARES THIS POST gets an entry to the draw.
The draw will happen Monday and be posted on the NutraForm social media pages so stay tuned for that to come.
After all the support I’ve personally received as well as witnessed online, I have no doubt that together, we can make a difference for ALS families today and in the future.
