Wendel’s True Foods is a family owned company with a focus on gluten free baking. We first started baking our sweets in 1997 in our restaurant and bookstore, Wendel’s Bookstore & Café located in historic Fort Langley BC. Over the years the demand for our wholesome sweets grew and as a result we now bake our handmade sweets in a dedicated bakery. Our baked goods are packaged for retail and for wholesale food service.

Certified gluten free means you don’t have to take our word for it.

GFCO, the Gluten-Free Certification Organization, is a globally recognized certification program with some of the strictest standards in the world. They audit our bakery and test our products, and their requirements are tougher than what Canadian regulations ask for.

And since gluten never enters our facility to begin with, that GF logo on the package is something you can count on every time.
