Meet Pelaheya — the girl behind Break Bread Bakery, a young entrepreneur from right here in Lac La Biche County who started making and selling crafts as a teenager and somewhere along the way discovered sourdough. And honestly, the rest is history.

What she has built is so much more than a bread business. Every Friday at the Farmers Market, she shows up with fresh baked goods — loaves, focaccia, cookies, specialty rolls, seasonal specials — all made with care and real ingredients. The kind of baking that makes your whole house smell incredible and tastes even better than it looks.

Pelaheya will be with us both days with her handmade handicrafts, and on Friday she will also be bringing her baking. Come early on Friday if you want to take a loaf home — I have a feeling she will sell out. 🍞

The original sourdough loaf has a new and improved recipe 📋✅️

It still has the same crust and flavor, but a softer crumb.

And a most biased opinion, but it makes the best toast EVER. Period.
