When the black widow is away so the spiderling gets to play!

365 days have passed.
Crazy to think.
Whenever I try anything big, I always tell myself. I have to give it a year before I quit.
Man, oh man, there have been so many times when I was ready to walk away from this trailer life. When the tears and the frustration got to be too much. When the credit cards are maxed to the limit and I have to place a coffee order. When the exhaustion and the fatigue are overwhelming, and I feel like I just canā€™t go on anymore.

Yet here I am.

Broke as f**k, my kids mostly surviving off trailer leftovers and pizza. My laundry room begging for a reprieve, my dishwasher ready to give up the ghost and my lawn & garden looking like a scene from jumanji.
The trailer in a constant state of flux while I try and figure out its dance & flow. With its weird electrical twitches and leaky windows. The complete lack of temperature control during Every. Single. Season. and the deck roof I am terrified will take flight one day.

There are valid reasons for me to lock the door and walk away.
And I donā€™t think anyone would blame me.
However, at the end of the day, I love this stupid trailer.
I love the people that I meet, the connections I have made,
I love the community that doesnā€™t even know me ,yet rallies and supports.
Watching peopleā€™s faces when they take a bite, eyes wide with delight & hands to mouth to catch the crumbs.
Sometimes I regret my life choices. But Iā€™m not ready to walk away from this one.

Thankfully it's Saturday.

I had just pulled these cheesecakes out of the oven when the phone rang, just before noon on Friday.

JDSS was on the caller id šŸ¤¦šŸ»ā€ā™€ļø Oh no. Who did what!?!?

Turns out Matt took a ball to the face and basically got an A+ on the concussion test
Off to HDH.
Where they ordered a CT scan for a possible broken face.

Seriously..WTF

So instead of baking up the rest of the cheesecakes, cookies, pastries and getting all my bread dough cut and proofed, I was taking care of my little spiderling.

And while his beautiful face may not be broken he does have to be monitored for a minimum of 24 hours.

So apologies for not being as fully stocked as I would like but there are some absolutely amazing white chocolate raspberry cheesecakes, Cherry cheesecakes and Reese's pieces cheesecakes not to mention the cheesecake squares and brownies and muffins and cookies that I had already baked.

Swing over to the trailer for an iced coffee and breakfast sandwich, say hi to my oldest kid and enjoy sitting under the sun

So after a long winter we are finally starting to get back into the swing of things here at the trailer. As many of you know we had ALL of our syrup bottles shatter due to the cold weather so we are looking for your input on what flavours you want to see here at the trailer.

I was thinking of sā€™mores for summer! But what is your go to summer flavour?

From now until Sunday at noon we want you guys to vote!

We will have the regular vanilla, caramel, raspberry, cherry and lemon flavours but what other flavour shots are you most interested in trying?
