These were fun to throw together this morning.

New sandwich!

Egg and Turkey BLT

Our own croissant Bun.
Sriracha Mayo both sides
sunny side up OR poached egg (I tried both)
bacon
turkey
Fresh lettuce
Fresh sliced tomato
sliced cheddar

Bringing it all together to make a delicious egg and turkey BLT sandwich. 100% plantbased and delicious!

Twas my breakfast.

One of the hardest questions I get at the bakery is “is this spicy?” Or “how spicy is this?” Because we all have a different spice tolerance and idea of what is spicy.

The cornbread was fun to make! Simple recipe that can be manipulated in many ways. I removed some of the liquid in the recipe and replaced it will a scratch made mango purée and habanero simple syrup. Then tossed in some diced candied habaneros. Once it’s done and cooled I brush the top with some more habanero syrup.

I like to think of this heat as a slow build. First bite it will be on the sweet side with almost no heat until you’re almost done chewing. Then it gradually builds with every bite afterwards. Not a crazy heat but definitely there in the background with every bite.
