So.. next week starting Monday Sept 28 we will be making some of our specialty cinnamon rolls with some taste testers and you can enter to win a fabulous gift basket of cinnamon rolls!!

I often get asked how early I start baking, but rarely get asked how late in the night I bake. Truth be told I prefer to stay after hours to finish extra baking. The bakery is quiet aside from the endless hum of fridges and fans. The phone is silent and without the chatter of co-workers and customers it is peaceful and easy to concentrate on the tasks at hand.
Now if memory serves, it was a Friday before Thanksgiving, a busy day!!! I was finishing up a long night. It was perhaps 2:30 or 3:00am. A chill ran up my spine and it seemed as though the air was heavy and hard to breathe. I smelled cigarette or maybe cigar smoke. I looked around the kitchen for the cause of the smell but nothing was burning. I assumed fatigue had set into my mind and went back to my work station to clean up and go home. Again there was that heavy feeling and it was hard to catch a breath. I felt something behind me and glanced over my shoulder. There in front of the window was a young lady in white. My heart and lungs froze, but strangely calm I turned all the way around. There wasn’t anyone there, just the moon beaming in the window.
I can tell you I cleaned up and was out of there in record time!! I stepped outside into the cool crisp October air and there was the most beautiful full moon I have ever seen.
Perhaps the girl in white had just stopped to gaze at that October Hunter’s Moon.

Hey Everyone! We just got informed there is a recall on the frozen raspberries we use. We only used them today in our raspberry scones. Please if you purchased raspberry scones today September 15, bring them back for a refund or discard them. The scones are cooked in a 375 oven for 1/2 hour so the risk is pretty small but may be a chance of Noro virus. Thanks
