🛡️ THE PALADIN HAS TAKEN A SIDE QUEST.

Apparently our Paladin saw yesterday's Dill Pickle Parm sourdough and decided the main quest could wait. So naturally, we made him a new side quest.

Today's side quest:

🥒 Dill Pickle Parm sourdough
🧀 A ridiculous amount of mixed cheese
🥒 Extra pickles
🧀 Parm grilled right onto the outside for that crispy cheese crust

The sticky note is on the menu.

🥯 TWO NEW BAGELS HAVE ENTERED EPIC CRUMBS DRAGON GUILD. 🐉

This week we've added two new flavours to the bagel lineup:

🍇 Cinnamon Raisin — soft, chewy, a little sweet, packed with raisins and cinnamon.

🌶️🧀 Chopped Jalapeño Cheddar — cheesy with a little kick, with chopped jalapeños baked right into the dough.

Basically, we've got one for the sweet people and one for the spicy people.

So which one are you choosing? (I ate both)...

All of our paninis start with bread made right here at Epic Crumbs, then we load them up and press them hot when you order. 🔥

We’ve got three on the menu for today:

🍯 Ham & Gouda
Ham, Gouda, caramelized onions and our house-made honey mustard. Sweet, savoury, melty and just a little tangy.

🌶️ Spicy Roast Beef
Roast beef, Havarti, sautéed peppers & onions, pickled banana peppers and creamy spicy mayo. Hearty, cheesy and packing a little heat.

🥪 Loaded Deli
Mixed deli meats, cheddar, Havarti, sautéed peppers & onions, seedy mustard and mayo. Loaded, savoury and absolutely not a dainty sandwich. 😂

Well… we did it.

Dill Pickle Parmesan Sourdough is hitting the shelf today. 🤤

Pickles, dill, Parmesan and sourdough — and somehow this combination just WORKS.

We may have kept a loaf for ourselves. For quality control, obviously.

Apparently Thursdays are for Side Quests now. 🥖✨

Introducing: The Most Epic Sourdough Side Quest!

Every Wednesday I'll be announcing a fun, weird, maybe slightly unhinged sourdough loaf. Which will then be available Thursday!

This week's Side Quest:
Dill Pickle Parmesan Sourdough 🥒🧀

Dill, pickles, Parmesan, black pepper and a little onion, all folded into our house-made sourdough.

👀 dill pickle sourdough grilled cheese...need I say more?

I think we might even keep a loaf or two for ourselves. 😂

I have an important question for you.

Why did the sourdough starter break up with the loaf?

It needed some space to grow. 😏

We’re here until 3 today with all the fresh baking: bagels, muffins, sourdough, cookies, scones, and all the usual Epic Crumbs goodness. Plus coffee! Don't forget the coffee. ☕

⬜ GELATINOUS CUBE 101 ⬜

Ever wondered what a Gelatinous Cube actually is? 💭

In Dungeons & Dragons, they're giant, transparent cubes of acidic goo that wobble through dungeons engulfing anything in their path. 💀

And because they don't digest everything, you might spot treasure, weapons, keys…or the occasional unfortunate adventurer floating around inside. 🎲

Naturally, we looked at this horrifying creature and thought:

“You know what that should be? A marshmallow.”

So we made one.

Ours is significantly more delicious, considerably less acidic, and probably won't engulf you in a hallway.

Probably.

The coffee is flowing, the ovens are on, and apparently we're starting our Saturday by questioning some of our life choices. 😂

Have you ever tried Dr Pepper and espresso together? 👀

Because apparently this is a thing — and we have all been experimenting with it.
