Well folks, if you missed the concert yesterday, you missed one amazing show, but guess it’s your loss 😊This Indigenous teen put on his first solo concert and, Wow, just amazing!
And he experienced his first Encore 👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽 everyone was clapping and standing, but he played his original piece, requested by someone from the audience. We told him to be prepared, but he didn’t think he would get an encore, he’ll be prepared next concert 😄😄
I have some Thank You’s to say.
🎹First to my boy, Thank you for putting on your concert and for doing all the speaking, you rocked it for your first time. Your talent and music you share with others is such a gift. Keep it up and your dreams will come true. The hours you put in playing and practicing is unbelievable. And so happy you got to tell that little story about your Gokum, because she was there cheering you on. When you started playing Perfect, I had tears because I was in a perfect moment, I felt Mom there and at the same time I saw you performing, it was just perfect ❤️Your Mom will always support you. Love you 🎹
🎹Thank you to my nephew Denzel, for video graphing and taking photos of this event. Your talent is so amazing. Thank you for making the drive from Orillia and can’t wait to see it all once you’re done editing🎹

🎹Thank you to all who came to support my boy. Even those who travelled from Toronto just to support our boy, thank you. We’re honoured! Even before he was through his concert he was already asked, When is your next concert? So Thank for coming out and supporting one of Bancroft’s local teenagers🎹
🎹Thank you to all those who helped share his concert and promote it, whether it was through social media or word of mouth🎹
🎹And a huge shout out and Thank you, to his 2 piano teachers. Jackie who has been teaching him for 11 years and Dianne for 3 years. You both have contributed to his piano journey, both in your own methods of teaching, he has learned so much and the growth he has shown is just amazing. Thank you for being there for him! I have to say you both are the best piano teachers and I am so grateful to both of you that you’s are on this piano journey with him, I’m sure you’re both proud of him🎹
As his Mom I’m so proud that I get to hear him every single day. A huge thank you goes to my Mom for buying him that little blue battery operated piano at the age of 2. Since that day he played and memorized songs and hasn’t stopped. So I know his Gokum is proud and is with him on his journey as well. There is no doubt in my mind that he will be going somewhere with his talent!
