Being asked to contribute to The Mane Event was such an incredible honour, especially for a cause that is so close to my heart 💛

The Langley School District Foundation does amazing work supporting local students and families, helping ensure kids in our community have access to diagnosis, opportunities, resources, and support they may not otherwise receive.

Knowing these cupcakes were part of an event dedicated to making a difference made this project even more meaningful to me.

For the event, I created a mix of vanilla and lemon cupcakes, decorated with floral buttercream designs inspired by spring bouquets. Every single one was made with so much care and gratitude.

Thank you so much to the organizers for allowing me to contribute to such a beautiful and impactful event 🌸🧁

This cake pushed me outside my comfort zone in the best way possible 💛💜

From experimenting with new flavour combinations to learning how to create fresh mango rosettes for the first time, this one was definitely a creative challenge and I’m honestly so proud of how it turned out ✨

Inside is a soft taro cake brushed with ube simple syrup, layered with fresh whipped cream and juicy mango, then finished with a silky mango buttercream. Light, fruity, earthy, and not overly sweet; such a fun and unique flavour profile!

Sometimes the cakes that challenge you the most end up teaching you the most too 🌸

A little extra special one for this weekend 💕🥂

This raspberry champagne cake was created as a combo celebration for my birthday and Mother’s Day because why choose just one reason for cake? ✨

Champagne sponge layers filled with raspberry champagne buttercream, finished with a glossy raspberry champagne glaze drip, florals, and delicate gold butterflies. Sweet, fruity, elegant, and just a little bit extra… exactly how celebrations should be 💖

I think this one might officially prove that champagne belongs in cake just as much as it belongs in a glass 🍾

There’s something extra special about creating a full set like this 💛

This cake was all about bringing the outdoors to life through vanilla cake filled with raspberry, finished with smooth vanilla buttercream and a hand-painted (well… buttercream-painted 😉) landscape. Add in those textured details and suddenly it feels like a little edible hiking trail.

And the cupcakes? Funfetti for the grandkids, of course, because what’s a celebration without a little colour and sparkle ✨ Finished with vanilla frosting and just a touch of glitter to keep things fun.

I’ve always said I’m not good at painting… but apparently give me some buttercream, a palette knife, and creative freedom and I turn into Michelangelo 🎨😂

This tall beauty features four layers of classic vanilla cake, filled and finished with smooth vanilla buttercream for that timeless, crowd-pleasing flavour. Wrapped in a soft sage green and adorned with delicate hand-piped florals, it’s giving garden party meets modern elegance 💐

Sometimes I make cakes just for fun — to play, experiment, and try new ideas in the kitchen 🎂✨

I call this one is my Berry Lemonade Cake 🍋🍓 inspired by my excitement for Spring around the corner 🤭

Layers of strawberry and lemon cake, filled and crumb coated with strawberry buttercream, with a fresh raspberry compote between the layers. It’s finished with lemon buttercream and decorated while I practiced some new piping techniques and played around with a soft, summery colour palette.

I love giving myself time to experiment with flavour combinations and designs. Sometimes the best ideas come from just letting creativity lead the way.

This order was extra special to me 🪿💕

The theme for the celebration was “One Silly Goose”, and I had so much fun bringing it to life with this goose-themed cake and cupcake pull-apart. From the soft pastel piping to the little goose details, every piece was made with so much love.

What made this one even more meaningful is that I’ve known the birthday girl’s mom for many years, so it felt incredibly special to be trusted to be part of her daughter’s big day. Being included in moments like these is one of the best parts of what I do.

Tried out a new recipe and I’m officially in love 🍓🧁

These are strawberry cupcakes with strawberry buttercream; soft, fluffy, and packed with real strawberry flavor. The buttercream is light, creamy, and just the right amount of sweet with that fresh berry taste.

I had so much fun decorating these with different piping styles and little touches on top. Sometimes testing new recipes turns into something pretty special.

This floral cupcake basket is the perfect way to celebrate any special occasion!

Each cupcake is hand-piped with buttercream flowers and arranged like a fresh bouquet which is almost too pretty to eat (almost 😉).

Great for birthdays, anniversaries, or an upcoming Mother's Day celebration 😏 🩷
