💔 An unexpected update from us…💔

We honestly never thought we’d be writing this post.

Late yesterday afternoon, after not even completing our first full day at Benton’s Square, we were told that we needed to vacate.

The reason given to us was that a complaint had been made by a café within the centre, with concerns that our baked goods were “not that basic” and were seen as competition.

As a small local business, this has left us absolutely heartbroken and devastated. We had put so much time, money, preparation and love into getting ourselves ready, only to have it come to an end almost immediately.

And unfortunately, we’re now left with a LOT of stock that we had prepared specifically for the pop-up — stock that could potentially end up in the bin. 💔

We are incredibly grateful to every single person who followed along, came to see us, purchased something, shared our posts, or simply supported our little business. ❤️

But before our goodies end up feeding the rubbish bin… or making our chickens even chunkier 😂🐔…

KEEP AN EYE OUT FOR A POST LATER TODAY!

We’ll be putting together some bundle deals from our kitchen in Tyabb so you can grab some of our yummies, help us save our stock from going to waste, and support our little family business. 🧁🍪🍰

We’re absolutely gutted, but we’re not giving up. ❤️
