A little PSA from the bakery 🤍
Our beloved 140-year-old Scotch oven — the heart and soul of our bread — is taking a well-earned break this February for some much-needed repairs.
🥖 No bread from Friday 6th Feb
🔥 Back baking Friday 27th Feb (orders open for this coming weekend so nobody misses out!)
But don’t worry — the café stays OPEN ☕️

but for presence that echoes through time.
For courage etched in every shoreline,
and bravery buried in the dawn.

We remember those men and women who rose before the sun,
and never saw it set again.
Who walked through fire for freedom’s name,
and carved legacy into the land.

Lest we forget—not just today,
but in each breath of peace we draw.
