The lawn bowls competition at Glasgow 2026 has delivered everything so far including some unforgettable moments on the world stage. We love to see lawn bowls capturing the attention it deserves at the Commonwealth Games.
There have been plenty of mixed emotions for the Henselite family over the past few days.
Aaron Wilson's pursuit of a historic third consecutive Commonwealth Games singles title came to an agonising end in a thrilling semi-final against Team Henselite's Izzat Shameer Dzulkeple of Malaysia. Aaron will now turn his attention to the bronze medal match, while we congratulate Izzat on a tremendous performance and wish him all the very best in the gold medal match.
In the Women's Pairs, Team Henselite's Dawn Hayman and partner Kelsey Cottrell were heartbreakingly close and missed the semi-finals by a single shot. This saw Northern Ireland's Chloe Wilson and her partner progress to the final four, where they will now play off for bronze. Congratulations to Malaysia's Syafiqa Haidar Afif Abdul Rahman and Aleena Ahmad Nawawi on progressing through to the gold medal match.
With plenty of medals still to be decided, the excitement in Glasgow is only building. Best of luck to all bowlers still in contention and those yet to take the green. We'll be watching closely and cheering you on over the coming days.
