Senior & Junior Bakery Shop Assistant (Casual)
Position: Casual (includes Saturday work)
Spreyton Bakery is looking for an experienced and reliable Senior Bakery Assistant to join our team. This role includes weekday and with availability on Saturdays essential.
Junior Shop Assistant experience is not necessary but willing to learn, take direction, work Saturdays and after school is a must.
We’re seeking someone confident in a fast-paced bakery/café environment who can take initiative and deliver excellent customer service.
Key Responsibilities
• Preparing and serving quality coffee (barista experience essential)
• Serving customers and taking orders efficiently
• Maintaining a clean and organised workspace
• Assisting with food service and display presentation
• Providing friendly, professional customer service
About You
• Previous café or bakery experience is essential
• Strong barista skills
• Reliable, punctual, and well-presented
• Able to work efficiently in busy periods
• Excellent communication and customer service skills
• A positive, team-focused attitude
