Day in the life of a cake decorator….. 🤣

This little fondant mushroom was made for a recent cake… but never made it onto the cake. 🍄Instead, he’s been sitting in our kitchen watching life go by haha.
A few days ago, I found him hiding in my trolley with all my medical/respiratory machines beside my bed 😂
Now hubby and I have started a game of “Find the Mushroom” … and knowing us, this game may never end. 🤣 Who do you think will give up on hiding it first???!!

⭐️🍄 This SUPER Mario cake was packed with all the fun! 🍄⭐️

With mushrooms, stars, and one giant question block, there was plenty of my sweet cake magic involved! Everything on this cake was edible (except for the figurines Mum supplied 😊.) I brought the rest of this Super Mario cake to life with fondant and modelling chocolate 🎂✨

This is the 6th birthday cake I’ve made for Miss Summah! How time flies! 🎂✨

You’ve definitely surprised me a few times with your choice of themes, but I’ve loved bringing your ideas to life every year. 💛

Everything on this cake is completely edible…. I hand-made The Beatles silhouettes with modelling chocolate and couldn’t resist adding the iconic Abbey Road with fondant on the board for that perfect finishing touch 🎶
