Part 5 — Leaving Affects More Than the Owner

Sometimes a job simply isn’t right anymore.

People leave.

They should be able to.

But in a small business, a sudden departure rarely affects just “the boss”.

Someone else covers the shift.

Someone inherits the workload.

Production changes.

Customers notice.

Knowledge can disappear overnight.

There will always be circumstances where someone needs to leave immediately.

But where there is an opportunity to communicate, there is value in doing so.

Because good judgement isn’t only about what we are entitled to do.

It is also about considering how our decisions affect the people working beside us.

Only Pay 30% Upfront for Craig’s Supper. 🍽️

If you’re eligible for Support at Home (SaH), you could enjoy delicious, wholesome Craig’s Supper meals while paying just 30% upfront.

Your Support at Home funding could cover up to 70% of your meal costs, making it easier to enjoy nutritious, home-style meals without having to prepare them yourself.

How it works
1. Apply for SaH Meals
Provide your details and Craig’s will manage the approval with your Care Provider.

2. Order your meals
Once approved, you can view the Craig’s Supper menus and order online or by phone.

3. Meals delivered to your door
Your meals are delivered at the scheduled time, with preparation and storage instructions included.

It’s a simple way to have good food at home while making the most of your available Support at Home funding.

Take a look at what’s on the menu, choose your favourites and get next Friday’s dinner sorted.

Orders close Sunday at 2pm.

Part 4 — “I Think” Becomes “Apparently”

This one happens surprisingly easily.

“I think…”
becomes:
“Apparently…”
which becomes:
“I was told…”

And somewhere along the way, an observation quietly becomes a fact.

A roster changes.

A conversation is overheard.

Something doesn’t look right.

We form an explanation.

Then we repeat it.

The problem is that an assumption can cause just as much damage as a fact once people start acting on it.

Perhaps the better question is:
“This is what I’ve noticed. Can you help me understand what’s happening?”

Observe.
Ask.
Clarify.
Then act.

Sunday has arrived - which means Craig’s Supper orders close today at 2pm.

If you’d like next Friday night’s dinner - or a few of next week’s dinners - already sorted, now’s the time to hand them over to Craig’s.

Craig's Supper Weekly Day's to Remember:-

**Tuesday**: New weekly menu goes live
**Sunday**: 2pm: Orders close
**Friday**: Pick up from Craig’s Bakehouse or have it delivered

*Deliveries within a 40klm radius of Naracoorte (see website for delivery details).

Good food made by Craig’s, finished simply at home.

Have a look at this week’s menu and get your order in before 2pm Sunday - after that, we’ll be swapping the order book for the cooking pots.
