The topper was supplied , I decorated this cake to resemble the theatre. Velvet curtains and lashings of gold accents.

When a young couple move in next door many treats ago...A friendship grew over fence chats and they became like family.. Brian and Sophie tied the knot recently at Gilbert's and it was beautiful.

Sophie was beautifully determined to gro@@ w all her own florals, which was also the inspiration for the wedding cake colours. Truly a vibrant garden colour theme.

Well I purchased a new phone.. still trying to work the darn contraption ..So here goes.

The brief..
We need a 21st birthday cake... tick
In shape of old wine barrell..tick
He likes a bundy rum, can you make a bundy bear..yup tick
And he likes fishing...hmm maybe have bear fishing..yup tick.
I added a fondant tap , I like how it turned out. 😊

And it travelled all the way to Sydney.

Last weekend, I had the pleasure of creating a special order of cupcakes and a handmade fondant tea pot. The theme was High Tea, celebrating a young lady's birthday. The tables were beautifully decorated, I imagine the girls felt like princesses, evoking a sense of magic with this theme.

Recently Dads have been making cake requests ...and ordering some very cool cakes. This one was to celebrate a 30th birthday for a XE car enthusiast.

How to make a car look like its just exploded out of a cake..and lots of edible nuts and bolts made in fondant, air brushed to give that metal look. Layers of homemade chocolate cake with swiss meringue buttercream fillings ..🙂
And a metal lookalike fondant covered board to finish the effect.

Every day is a blessing, but when I was asked to make a 90th birthday cake, well, that's very special. Congratulations to you, and happy 90yrs of being so loved.

The fondant Roses are all hand made. Each petal is rolled very thinly, shaped and molded, and then attached on the bud to make your very own one of a kind Rose. The Process is again repeated untill the desired size. . Then left to fully dry, next the rose leaves are made and attached. Then both are dusted with colour to bring each peice to life.. what do you think?

When your Dad picks a fun design for your 30th birthday.. your not going to forget the cake too quickly. And was probably the BUTT of most jokes at work.. BUTT you only wanted a birthday cake. BUTT Dad knew better...🤣🤣.
