Not all went as planned this past weekend but I got to break out the piping nozzles for this lil raspberry+lemon number and she was so pretty! Previously a chiffon cake girl but butter cakes have been growing on me of late, and I’m still needing to decide on cake flavour(s 🤭for the wedding! Do you have a favourite? Hi all, total transparency- I made an error in the kitchen this week. A big one. I’ve used an out-of-date yeast, meaning all of the croissant and cinnamon scroll dough has not risen as it should. Unfortunately, as a result I won’t be able to attend Newcastle City Farmers Market this Sunday. I am so sad to disappoint, this is a difficult lesson to learn, but mistakes happen. Back 27/09.

Hi all! Hey guys! No Sunday farmers market this week as another event is booked at the Showground, but here’s a mandarin poppyseed cake that I made this week (so good!) with mandarins, lemons and eggs from the farm (thanks Shaun Patrick Tamplin). Should I run this one Newcastle City Farmers Market?
