My youngest son Matias turned 15 earlier this month.
15 ?!?!🤯🤭🫣😭🥹

Like most teenagers he survives on a balanced diet of fantastic noodles, fast food & soft drink with the occasional home cooked meal thrown in for good measure (ie if he has nothing else to eat lol)
When I pick up his older brother from work at McDonalds, as I leave I either get a
‘Can you please get me a Chocolate Frappe??’ or
‘Any chance you could get me some Nuggets??’
So I thought this cake was rather fitting 🥳
Happy 15th Birthday to one of my favourite humans on the planet 🌎
You make me laugh every single day and still give me the best cuddles that somehow manage to heal a little of my heart each & every time.

Now go get a job to pay for all the Maccas 😂

My oldest son Luca turned 18 last weekend.
He is one of my favourite humans in the whole wide world; he is kind, loud, sometimes infuriatingly & always unapologetically funny, has excellent taste in music (somewhat thanks to me 💁🏻‍♀️) and since early primary school, taken a keen interest in fashion and in recent years, particularly footwear.
I would have loved to have made him an actual shoe however for one this is not really in my wheelhouse (ie I’ll leave this to the experts) and more importantly, two it surely would have been the ‘wrong’ shoe 🤦🏻‍♀️😂

I figured I couldn’t go too far wrong with the box they come in lol

The prettiest little vintage for Avah’s 16th

Side note… although I love the look of Vintage Cakes they are not really one of my favourites to make; I don’t have a particularly steady hand and precise & even piping is paramount in order to do this style justice.
I’ve had the fortune to meet some amazingly talented cake makers over the years in the industry and some have become very dear friends.
My dear friend Caz from no shares my love/hate relationship with Vintage Piping. We have both said many times over the years ‘Why can’t someone create a product that marks out the placement of each swag?!?’
Thankfully the cakegods must have been listening in to our conversations because have come up with just that!!!! An amazing set of 5 Ruffle Garland Template Guides available !!
Caz gifted me a set and let’s just say they are a game changer for me 💪 No more guessing, no more ‘that’s close enough’…
