And just like that… we’re inside the River Room
This part is honestly where I get most anxious as I am not in my kitchen and not in my comfort zone but exciting — the moment everything comes together. Stacking the tiers, placing the fresh flowers, adding those final touches, and doing a little on-site patching up to make sure everything looked absolutely perfect. This is the part no one really sees — the behind-the-scenes magic that goes into every single delivery usually 3 tiers or more I assemble on site 🎂
And then… into the fridge she goes. Safe, beautiful, and ready for her big moment. 🙌🤍
Now — I have to be honest with you all 😅 You might notice a box in the frame through most of this video, and I didn’t realise it until AFTER the cake was safely delivered. Here’s why — my car was parked in a 5-minute drop of zone where I had to just drop off my things and I was already 25 minutes in. 😬🚗💨 So my head was down, I was locked in, focused on getting every detail right and getting it done. By the time I checked back over the footage, the box had been photobombing the whole thing! 😂📦
But you know what? The cake was delivered perfectly, the client was happy, and next time I’ll definitely be checking my frame before I hit record! 😂🎬 Maybe next time the box stays OUT of the spotlight. 👀
