✨ Before & After ✨

One of my favourite things about cake decorating is seeing the transformation from a simple bake to a finished masterpiece.

Whether it's a plain cupcake waiting for its swirl of buttercream, a freshly crumb-coated cake ready for decoration, or a simple black cake transformed into an elegant vintage design, every creation starts with the basics.

The "before" stage may not look like much, but it's where the magic begins. With a little creativity, skill, and attention to detail, those simple cakes and cupcakes become centrepieces for celebrations, memories, and special moments.

🌿🦁 From a simple stacked cake to a jungle adventure! 🦓🦒🐒

Creating this sweet safari-themed first birthday cake was such a fun project. Every little animal was hand-modelled from fondant, from the cheeky monkey perched on the branch to the adorable zebra, tiger and giraffe below. The fondant tree, personalised name plaque and all the tiny leaves and flowers brought this jungle scene to life.

🍌 Monday Recipe Share 🍌

There's nothing quite like the smell of freshly baked banana cake filling the kitchen! Today I'm sharing one of my favourite comfort bakes – a moist and delicious Banana Cake topped with silky Cream Cheese Frosting. Perfect for afternoon tea, family gatherings, or simply using up those ripe bananas sitting on the bench.
