The bake me cake me Classic Choc Chip NYC Chunk cookie recipe:

πŸͺ 115g good quality unsalted butter Lurpak Australia
πŸͺ 80g caster sugar CSR Sugar
πŸͺ 80g brown sugar
πŸͺ 220g couverture chocolate chips (I of course use POWER 41 Callebaut ANZ chocolate chips)
πŸͺ 125g plain flour
πŸͺ 125g self raising flour
πŸͺ 1/4 tsp salt
πŸͺ 1tsp vanilla extract Queen 🧁 Baking & Desserts
πŸͺ 2 eggs

πŸͺ οΏ½οΏ½οΏ½Combine butter & sugars in mixer till nuggets are formed.
πŸͺ Add choc chips. Mix to combine.
πŸͺ Add flours. Mix to combine (no need to sift)
πŸͺ Whisk eggs and vanilla separately and add to mixture. Mix to combine till dough forms (just 30seconds).
πŸͺ Take chunks of the dough and weigh to 85g each or the original in store size of 125g for a larger cookie.
πŸͺ Shape into loose balls and freeze for at least 90 minutes. If you have the patience make the day before and freeze overnight before baking.
πŸͺ Bake for 14-16 minutes at 165C fan forced on a baking paper lined tray.
The cookies should be golden on the outside and soft and soft in the middle. Please wait 5 minutes before eating! This recipe makes 10 85g cookie dough balls.
