A little late, but definitely worth celebrating!
With 11 games on the program and everyone being flat out, the Round 5 Coach’s Awards post slipped through the cracks. 😅
What a super impressive display at our first home game of the season against Red Bend. We were incredibly proud of the effort, teamwork and sportsmanship shown by all of our little lizards.
Congratulations to all of our Coach’s Award recipients, and well done to every player who pulled on the black and gold.

🏉 Thank you to Red Bend for making the trip over for our first home game and for a great day of footy! 🏉

As it's National Volunteer Week, we'd also like to recognise and thank all of the amazing volunteers who make GJRL possible. From our coaches, referees, trainers, first aid officers, committee members, canteen volunteers, and everyone who helps with set up and pack up, your hard work doesn't go unnoticed.

A special thank you to Sheb for running the canteen today and to all of the parents who stepped up to help throughout the day.

Without volunteers, days like this simply wouldn't happen.

And a massive shout out to Tom Downey from West Wyalong for coming over and helping our club by refereeing five games today. What a champion! 👏

🚒 Thank You, Fire & Rescue! 🚒
A huge thank you to Fire and Rescue NSW for hosting your Open Day at the footy today.
The kids had an absolute ball exploring the trucks, trying out the equipment, and learning about fire safety. It was fantastic to see so many smiling faces enjoying the day.
Thank you for taking the time to engage with our community and for everything you do to keep us safe. 👏🚒😊
