Here's a quick recap of yesterday's huge day at Bald Hills State School 160th Year Festival.

What an incredible effort only possible by the help of countless volunteers and the amazing humans on our P&C P&C Bald Hills State School

I'm so happy to report I SOLD OUT completely - every single cake gone to eager customers. Woohoo!!! I had many familiar faces find me, and plenty of new ones too to discover me at the market place yesterday. I really enjoyed the day.

Thank you to everyone who came back just to tell me they LOVED their cake. Your compliments fuel me!! 🩷 It justifies all the long hours on my feet in the kitchen and at the stall haha!!

After a couple very well earned drinks at the B**r Garden, I also won a raffle prize 🪎 yay!!!

As with many other parents, I'm sure, we all lost our kids for several hours to the unlimited rides and fun attractions on show. They were living free with all their best friends running truly wild!!

Finally finishing up the day with a huge fireworks display, sore feet, and tired legs.. I'm resting today with long lay in bed this morning, and a massive mug of coffee.

Set the reminders - coming up very soon is the HUGE festival at Bald Hills State School, celebrating their 160th year with rides, markets, food, entertainment, and FIREWORKS to end the night. 🎆

Come down and find me from 11am in the markets with all your favourite bundt cakes and treats. Our school is supported by so many amazing local businesses this year, and we absolutely love working with the P&C too. We are currently fundraising to reinstate the Forestry Project. 🌲

It's been a while since my last pop-up, so I can't wait to be back to see everyone again! Woohoo!!

There will be so many exciting things to see and do the whole day, so get in early for a fun day at the 160th Festival.

In celebration of my 1000th Instagram post, I'm resharing one of my first reels from 4.5 years ago!

It hit over 9k views back then, and I still think it's hilarious. Let's see what happens this time!

I remember back then I was trying to figure out how to mime over sound, and start/stop recording to sync to the sound, haha all a long time before templates in IG existed. I thought Instagram was so hard! But here we are now... 😆

My Nordic Ware collection has probably doubled since then too 🎉
