We will be open only on Wednesday and Thursday this week and closed all next week.

So closed from Friday the 9th of October and back open again on Wednesday the 21st October.

I have my family here visiting from Germany! You can see Dad helping me with the bread in the picture! They’ve been helping out in the shop and love meeting all the regulars. We’re looking forward to a few days of enjoying the beautiful food and sights around the South West with them.

So stock up the Wednesday and Thursday if you need, and say hi! They’re practising their English in the shop 🙂

It’s Christmas-In-July-Eve! This weekend Fridgetown Fest celebrates winter all throughout Bridgetown ❄️

In Germany, we open pressies the day before, so we’re celebrating with some special Lebkuchen style (gingerbread) biscuits. These stars are made with a very short dough, featuring local yuzu icing and mandarin peel powder.
Merry Christmas! ⭐️

Most of Bridgetown knows Ernie and “Ernie’s Mum and Dad” (Lyn and David). This trio braved the misty morning yet again to come down for waffles.. Ernie seems to think if he sits very straight on his chair he might get some…

NEW

Southern Forests Avocado Oil! This Liquid (green!) Gold is 100% Cold-Pressed Extra Virgin Avocado Oil made from excess/second grade avocados grown locally in the region.

We first met Lawrence a couple of years ago when his processing facility was still in its beginnings … since then he has saved over 1200 TONNES of avocados that would have otherwise gone to waste!!!
Amazing!

The avocado pulp is gently cold-pressed to preserve integrity and flavour. It’s super smooth, rich, buttery and a beautiful bright green.

Did you know that avocado oil has a higher smoke point than olive oil? This makes it perfect for cooking as well as drizzling on salads, eggs, veggies and BREAD of course!

Nutrient-dense and delicious, this has a great concept which we love.
