While the blue theme is going on my grid I may as well as this little number.

Our youngest child, Abbey turned 18 a couple of weeks ago. I made a small cake in her favourite colour as a surprise for her birthday dinner with friends.

I’ve been cake decorating for 20 years and in that time things have changed so much.
I have found my style and absolutely love creating cakes with some texture, sprinkles and a touch of gold.
Another thing I love is attending hands on workshops - I learn so much and always walk away with a new way of doing something.
Last weekend I attended a workshop run by Anita and the Wangaratta branch of the (right back where I started but in Wodonga)
This cake was my creation for the day
Thanks Anita - you definitely helped me master the sharp edges on my buttercream cakes. AND how good is this buttercream 😃😃
