3 Nights Per Week | Henri’s Bakery – Wodonga

Henri’s Bakery is seeking a qualified and experienced Baker to join our night production team for 3 nights per week.

This is an experienced position for someone who can confidently step into a commercial bakery environment, work independently and maintain consistent production standards.

The Role

- Bread and dough production
- Mixing, shaping, proving and baking
- Pie and savoury production
- Managing production efficiently and to schedule
- Maintaining consistent product quality
- Following food safety and workplace procedures

What We're Looking For

- Trade qualification in Baking – essential
- Commercial bakery experience – essential
- Strong bread-production knowledge
- Pie and savoury production experience highly regarded
- Ability to work independently and manage production
- Reliable and comfortable working night shift
- Cake, slice or pastry experience is an added bonus

What We Offer

We are looking for a skilled pastry professional who can work confidently and independently across a varied product range while maintaining excellent quality, consistency and presentation.

The Role

- Pastries and sweet products
- Cakes, slices and desserts
- Finishing and decorating
- Daily production planning and preparation
- Maintaining consistent presentation and quality
- Contributing ideas for new and seasonal products

What We're Looking For

- Relevant trade qualification – essential
- Commercial pastry experience – essential
- Strong pastry production skills
- Excellent attention to detail and presentation
- Ability to work independently and efficiently
- Cake decorating experience highly regarded
- Bread-making experience is a major advantage
- Broader bakery experience is highly regarded

• Preparing sandwiches, rolls, wraps and focaccias
• Preparing fresh ingredients and fillings
• Sandwich platters and catering preparation
• Daily food preparation
• Stock rotation and maintaining freshness
• Keeping your preparation area clean and organised
• Following food safety and allergen procedures
• Working efficiently during busy production periods

Previous sandwich making, café, catering or commercial kitchen experience is required.

We need someone who can step into a busy environment, use their initiative and work efficiently without compromising on quality or presentation.

Accounts & Payroll Officer

Henri’s Bakery Wodonga

We are looking for an experienced Accounts & Payroll Officer to join our team at Henri’s Bakery.

This is a hands-on role suited to someone who is organised, accurate and confident managing the day-to-day accounts and payroll requirements of a busy business.

Key Responsibilities

- Processing weekly payroll accurately and on time
- Reviewing timesheets, hours, leave and pay rates
- Accounts payable and accounts receivable
- Entering and processing supplier invoices
- Bank and account reconciliations
- Managing supplier statements and payment schedules
- Maintaining accurate employee and payroll records
- Superannuation and payroll administration
- Assisting with BAS preparation and accountant requirements
- Following up outstanding accounts
- General bookkeeping and financial administration
- Identifying discrepancies and resolving them promptly

About You

We are looking for someone who:

- Has previous accounts and payroll experience
- Has strong attention to detail and takes accuracy seriously
- Understands confidentiality when handling payroll and financial information
- Can work independently and manage competing deadlines
- Is confident with accounting, payroll and computer systems
- Has good knowledge of Australian payroll requirements and Modern Awards
- Is reliable, organised and comfortable taking ownership of the role
- Experience with MYOB is highly regarded

Experience in hospitality, retail or another fast-paced business environment would be an advantage.

Experience is essential.
