A double sided wedding cake for my niece and new nephew and my gravity defying death star using techniques learnt at the ballerina class.

So I had the priviledge of doing a class with Dorothy and this was the result. She stands proudly in my dining room/kitchen. Her torso is cake.

This was a special cake for a crafty card making friend, covered with butter icing and a card created from rice paper prints and icing. The balance of the papers that were torn or cut were used on the cake with other icing embellishments.
This was such fun to do being a crafty card maker myself.
