Two Type Treats closing 31 July
Dear valued customers & friends
It is with a heavy heart that I am writing this message. After four wonderful years of serving our Diabetic, Keto, Banting community, the time has come for Two Type Treats to close its doors. This decision was not made lightly & letting go is not an easy feat.
As many of you may know, Two Type Treats was started when I was retrenched from the Travel Industry at the the start of Covid. Travel being my first passion for 35 years, I moved onto my second passion, healthy eating! With my brother being a T1 Diabetic, and my husband a Type2 Diabetic, I started Two Type Treats baking and selling sugar free/low carb treats to get through what we thought would be a few weeks or a couple of months at the most. As the effects of Covid continued, Two Type Treats continued to grow and thrive to so much more than what I expected.
Two years after the start of Covid and Two Type Treats, I was fortunate enough to find myself back in a full time position in the Travel Industry. I wanted so much to keep going with my ‘Covid baby’ and therefore continued to manage both. Now 4 years later, and with the Travel Industry having grown back to its former self, my job in travel has become more demanding and juggling both as well as my personal life has become increasingly challenging. The time has now come for me to let go, take a step back and focus on my family, health, and travel career.
I am incredibly grateful for the support and loyalty I have received over the years.
To my family and friends who have been an integral part of this journey and to whom I owe so much more than words could ever express. I am forever grateful for their help, love & support.
To my suppliers, customers & fellow traders, your support and patronage have meant so much to me, and I am truly thankful for the relationships we have built & friends I have made.
Last but not least, to my assistant Lolly, who has worked tirelessly & patiently over the last 2 years in keeping our delicious treats going.
