The thing about spice blends? You never really know what’s in them!

Most commercial spice mixes contain anti-caking agents, fillers, and sometimes hidden sources of gluten, things that would never appear on a menu description, but that can cause real harm for someone living with celiac disease.

At Babette’s, we select every spice individually. Each one is chosen on its own, used on its own, and sourced with the same care we bring to every other ingredient in our kitchen.

It’s one of those details that most guests will never notice.

But this is what our commitment to local, preservative-free ingredients looks like in practice.

Brunch with the girls, soaking up the winter sunshine ☀️

I spent the morning at and was reminded that healthy food can be both nourishing and absolutely delicious.

Everything is made with such care, from the thoughtfully sourced ingredients to the beautiful plates arriving at the table.

Last weekend, Babette’s catered its very first wedding 🌿

And not just any wedding, but for my own daughter, Clara Babette 🤍

Every dish was prepared in the Babette’s kitchen with the same care, warmth, and intention we bring to our tables every day, entirely celiac-friendly and made for sharing.

From soulful curries to the wholesome cheese spread, the feedback was overwhelming. Guests kept telling us it was some of the best curry they had ever tasted. And when Violet, our head chef and curry queen, walked into the venue, she was met with a cheer from the room.

A moment we will never forget.
