All handmade with Love! Turning my passion for baking into a small business was an easy transition.

Heavenly Treats started in December 2011 with some humble but totally delicious and beautiful Christmas Cakes. Before long I found myself baking long hours to keep up with all the orders flowing in. With every new order came new challenges and I found myself creating beautiful cakes, cupcakes and homemade sweets for very happy clients. I pride myself on using only the best ingredients I can find.

Using these ingredients ensures that every cake or cupcake is truly heavenly. Where possible I source my ingredients and equipment from local businesses as I find it important to support business from within my community. And of course my secret ingredient is huge amounts of LOVE!! All my specialty cakes are made with extra special care to ensure that I create something special for my client. From the color to the design, everything is discussed at a consultation to ensure I can create a masterpiece for my client. And of course homemade sweets are all made with a ton of love and the best ingredients to ensure only the yummiest treats. I love creating beautiful cakes and making delicious, decadent treats and hope to create some for you

The reason we charge the price we do for custom cakes:

The prices shown in this picture are for cake details and decorations only.

These prices are incurred before baking even begins and they do not include the sponge, cream, cake board, packaging ,electricity ,water ,and petrol costs for buying or collecting items for your cake.

We are not even talking about the hours you spend standing while you bake and decoratte the cake by the time you finish your feets will surely be crying for a foot massage.

So by the time we include those things we have already reached R1000 before our own profit just for a simple barbie girl cake.
